Solar Panels

By harnessing the sun’s energy, our solar panels provide a reliable source of power, helping you reduce energy bills and potentially increasing your property’s value. Even on cloudy days, our advanced photovoltaic panels generate electricity, contributing to your energy savings.

While photovoltaic panels primarily produce electricity, which can power heating and cooling systems, they do not directly provide heating and cooling capabilities. Regardless of the weather, these systems help maintain a comfortable temperature.

Solar Panel Design and Installation Process

While photovoltaic panels primarily produce electricity, which can power heating and cooling systems, they do not directly provide heating and cooling capabilities. Regardless of the weather, these systems help maintain a comfortable temperature.

1. Initial Survey and Indicative Quotation:

The first step in the solar panel design process is an initial survey conducted over the phone with the customer. During this call, the installer will use the customer’s current energy bills and tools like Google Maps to assess the property’s suitability for Solar Panels. Based on this information, an indicative quotation is provided, giving a rough estimate of the installation costs.

2. Site Survey and Detailed Assessment

Once the customer is satisfied with the initial quotation, a site survey is arranged. During this visit, the installer will verify the initial quotation’s accuracy, assess the suitability of the house and inspect the roof’s condition. This detailed assessment ensures that the installation will be feasible and effective.

3. Final Design and Savings Projection

After the site survey, final designs are created and sent to the customer for approval. Along with the designs, a 20-year savings projection is provided. This projection is based on the current energy bills and the expected solar yield, giving the customer a clear understanding of the long-term financial benefits of the Solar Panel installation.

4. Installation

Upon approval of the final designs, the installation process begins. The installer will set up the Solar Panels and all necessary components, ensuring everything is correctly fitted and operational.

5. Paperwork Submission for DNO Approval and SEG Payments

After the installation is complete, the installer will handle the submission of all relevant forms for Distribution Network Operator (DNO) approval. Additionally, they will ensure that the customer is set up to receive Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) payments, which compensate homeowners for excess energy fed back into the grid.
